Frequently asked questions
We will update this section, as questions come and we get closer to the wedding
What is the dress code on your wedding day?
Summer semi-formal: Example attire for women include below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or a pantsuit. As for men, you can wear a suit or keep it simple with suit jacket and and slacks, with the option to wear a tie.
Whatever you choose, we would LOVE if you show us your summer / island vibe. Bring on the colors, bring on the patterns.... just make sure you have comfortable footwear (especially looking at you, ladies). Lidö island is a casual setting with lots of gravel, grass, and sand - so thin heals could create a bit of a challenge :) See some examples below
While we love children, what we’d love even more on our wedding day is to enjoy the day and night to the fullest with you adults. Being on an island makes logistics with small kids somewhat difficult and we hence appreciate anyone who can find babysitters for their kids away from Lidö.
That said, we acknowledge that that won’t be an option for everyone (e.g. due to extended travel and / or breastfeeding babies), so please let us know if you are bringing your kids & we’ll make it work <3
In addition, your children are more than welcome to join the welcome drinks on August 16th.
Are children invited?
Do you expect all guests to spend the night on Lidö?
Absolutely not! While we love the idea of extending the wedding festivities to Sunday (and seeing you all in your hungover mode 😉), we do understand that there are plenty of reasons to leave the island in the evening (including costs of staying on Lidö or needing to get back home / to the airport).
Please just make sure to indicate your preference in the RSVP to allow us to plan accordingly.
Do you have a gift registry?
We do not. You making time to enjoy our wedding is truly all we wish for.
